I am sorry to have to contact you again.
On Friday 1st February 2019, our neighbour next door started loud banging and using a pneumatic drill (or similar equipment) by our joint wall in the area of our staircase. After 2 hours of this terrible noise nuisance (I have taken recordings of the noise as evidence) I texted Bernie Coogan to explain that the vibration caused by this had cracked our newly plastered walls. He send a text back stating "we are having the damage that your extension caused in our wall repaired for the second time. You and your approved inspector are aware of this damage."
Surely if their contractor carried out faulty initial repair work, the onus is on them to claim from their contractor, and nothing to do with us???
We have had no communication whatsoever from these neighbours about unsatisfactory repairs being undertaken by their contractors, nor a secondary claim to re-repair said work.
I just wondered if you have had any communication or further complaints from Bernie Coogan? Last time he alleged we had caused the initial damage we never even knew about this until you visited me.
I have contacted my insurance company, because when they have completed their alleged reworked repairs, I will have to undertake either skimming or repairing the sections of plaster affected, and redecorating, caused by their vibrations.
I would appreciate any feedback or comments from you.
