Notes From Summer Pre-Contract Meeting 12th July 2018
• Attendance
Ian Murphy (Estate Manager, Burnby Hall Gardens & Museum). Ian Scothern (Scothern Construction). Richard Dykes & Simon Denison & Cecilia Morgan (PDA)
Simon Denison took minutes/notes
• Introductions
Discussed general responsibilities and communications.
Mobile phones and written instructions etc
• Contract Details
JCT Minor works to be prepared but would accept a letter of intent to start ordering materials.
(PDA to prepare Contract issue week commencing 10th September)
Idea is for a soft start in mid-September with contract running from October to February
Aim to be open in March in the café.
• Approvals
Planning permission in place & no discharge of conditions required.
Initial notice submitted and fire consultation taken place.
• Site
General approach to building work, would be to build shell first and break through later in January after Christmas
Access to the site would be from the rear through the side of work shop.
Share welfare facilities in existing workshop and certificate of shared welfare required
Sign Board On Fences
PC sum in for brick and to be identified for supply lead in.
Storage in yard adjacent to workshop
Asbestos Survey Completed in 2016 copies to be circulated by Ian Murphy
Working Hours Monday-Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm
Landscaping and terrace to be discussed on timing either straight away or January
Mark up services supply drawing
New kitchen and details to be confirmed for Jan & Feb 19
Probably 4-5 men working on site.

On site monthly meeting and attendance to suit site issues

Find attached our Building Control package for this project including a set of current structural drawings from Dudleys. The only thing I need to do in addition to these is the fire plan which I will follow up with in due course.
