spoke to next door neighbour elderley lady adjoining semi not happy with works on site but confusing town planning and buiulding regulations approval

Informed her that we are the building inspector not town planning authority and cannot control how the building next door looks but will ensure that the proposed works do not have a detrimental effect on her proerty

Her concerns regarding building close to the boundary are not relevant under building regulations other than ensurjbng that existing foundations not undermined see notes on last inspection on site

She wants the extension stoped or moved back 3 feet from her exctension althugh she buiult to the bpundary explainerd not a buiulding regu;ations matter as no windows on this elevation of the extension we are looking at

She has been informed by her neighbour that the works are permitted deevelopment and not under the controil of LCC this would seem to be the case as no town planning application on system at LCC

Shew wants to go and see LCC to inspect the drawings informed her that this may not be an option as PD and to make an appointment before going into town as they may not see her without one

In essence not a building regas matter on the extension jab
