Hi
Please find attached;
• Drawing register
• AutoCAD file – 717 Tech Drgs Spen Lane 180930
• Dwg 717/20 Plot 4 – PDF format
This is in line with the planning design, save for the introduction of a masonry front wall to Bed 1, as requested. This is a compromise between looking hideous and a desire to lose the ski slope. The lean-to at the front is required to disguise the garage door setback and stop this part of the elevation looking really boring.
The first floor eaves margin above window heads looks heavy. Is this how you will actually build it? I was going to show soldiers but then the dentil coursing went wrong visually – so, didn’t do that.
I confirm discussion last Friday that Plot 4 design is now requested to be utilised for Plot 1. The design requires handing though. Plus, the garage can be extended to install the garage door in the front lean-to. So, the lean-to is needed for this.
The plot 4 design has its garage door setback and the garage is barely long enough. The door position is a result of creating a 5m separation of the house from the large water main required by YW. The house is pushed as far forwards as possible within its plot – but the setback is required to create a drive length both practical and acceptable to ERYC Highways. If this doesn’t make sense, then suggest you view the planning site layout on dwg 717/01B.
The Plots 2 & 3 design is in progress and will be issued soon.
Cheers
Steve
