As requested for the above property, please find attached structural calculations for the steel beams and timber floor joists to the loft conversion. All works have now been installed as such.
I have also attached a u-value calculation for the proposed strategy to insulate the roof to achieve the 0.18 regs.
This is on the basis of a double superquilt solution with a 20mm (32.5mm total) insulated plasterboard to the underside of the raters. The superquilt line will follow the underside of the rafters all the way to the eaves. The insulated plasterboard will follow the rafters to the top of the dwarf walls that sit under the purlins, then the face of the dwarf walls under the purlins will be plasterboarded with rigid insulation between the studs. The eaves will have additional mineral wool circa 200mm sitting at ceiling level.
A 50mm air gap will be left between the sarking felt and first layer of superquilt as regs; airflow to this gap has been achieved with 3nr ventilated roof tiles at the rear of the property. Cross ventilation to the front roof pitch has been achieved by installing a flat ceiling with maintained air flow between front and back as discussed with your office.
We are planning on installing the insulation works this weekend and need to order the materials, so if you see any initial concerns please let me know.
