site layout specifically prepared to indicate AD B1 Section 11 compliance. This is prepared utilising actual site dimensions. Indeed, it can be seen that the minimum unrestricted access width is significantly in excess of the minimum requirements. Also, the first strike hose extents distance considerably exceeds the maximum distance stated within the Regulations.

This sketch site layout is created by overdrawing the original designers site layout. I cross checked real site dimensions against the original site layout, then made adjustments as necessary. However, there is an error which I only realised after writing in the access width dimensions. The stated 4.30m drive width actually scales 4.80m. This is not an error to “hoodwink”, merely mentioned for completeness of information.

Finally, I’ve attached a copy of AD B1 S11 and this is primarily for Adam’s benefit.
