Hi Wayne,
Following our site meeting today we can confirm that the rock encountered in the foundation excavations is acceptable to build off. The rock should be trimmed down to the required level and the top surface left relatively smooth.
All concrete footings are to be at least 300 thick and reinforced with A193 mesh. This will make the footings sufficiently robust to resist any differential movement across changes in substrate material.
