Ian has no objection to additional sound proofing in all honesty - useful to know a cost.
The main objective of this is to get her to now sign a waiver to a party wall agreement so she cannot submit an injunction against us once work
commences.

In view of the two steel beams shown resting on the 9" party wall, I would like to see what steps will be taken to minimise the transmission of transient noise through the structure of the wall, as well as ambient noise.
I should also like to see how separation and fire safety will be ensured when the loft on one side is brought into use as accommodation, as I do not even know if the existing party wall there is complete, and your new internal wall only goes part way across.
And of course any other issues which might be raised by an adviser who looks at the drawings for me.
A emailed version of all drawings would be helpful too.
My other question would be... (so I can let her know)... Does the scaffolding go on her land at all? Do we remove/replace any of her roof tiles.
As discussed, it might be best to get your building surveyor to contact her on behalf of all of us & keep me us in the loop.
