Lunns Builders - 01405860198

Checked bank account and we received the payment of £240 but it said Lunns Builders - no reference to the home so hadn't been allocated to this address.

Spoke to Mrs Lunn from Lunns Builders. She was angry as the homeowner have been round to their house and queried an invoice sent. Lunns have paid for this on 20th November 2015 - Check account. Had email thread of bank details etc which wanted to send me. Would like us to write to homeowner and explain lunns have paid and it was an error. Said it was making them look bad. I said we would check account and once marked off we would update account and contact homeowner to apologise and book final inspection.

We always send the paper work and invoice to the owner not the builder
We don’t like the builders to include our fees in there quote as this often leads to confusion as the householder is responsible for paying our invoice

Reading your notes it doesn’t look like we were asked to do a completion inspection and issue you with a Completion Certificate , Which you would need if you wanted to sell your house

I can arrange for you to have an inspection and receive your completion Certificate
This isn’t a problem at all and can easily be sorted

We are in receipt of an invoice for fees relating to building works we had completed a couple of years ago. To my knowledge we did not contact you to arrange such works. However we understand that our builder John Lunn may have contracted you on our behalf. We are of the understanding that all costs relating to the building control were included in his costs to us. I have contacted him to clarify this matter as this payment may need to come from him and not us.
