My visit is at the request of the Contractor - Client for the final inspection – Both The projects are complete now and it appears to be in use –

No access could be gained to the roof space to checked the insulation - Client - stated that it was in place

I Checked the linked smoke detectors - which work fine –

I have checked the windows with regards to (MEANS OF ESCAPE) the hinges, are -unsatisfactory –

I checked the extractor fans to the bathroom, WC, kitchen - which work fine –

I discussed with the client if there was anything that they were unsure about or not happy about in relation to work which had been undertaken so that I could offer some advice about that element – the client appears mostly happy with the work – some items were mentioned
Leaky gutter
Small amount of cracking to some plaster work
Stated both not really covered under building regulations

The external works appear goods - no issues

The paperwork for this project is all in order - no issues – in the file
